Hotel was lovely, staff was *extremely* friendly and so helpful. The room was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was generous and there were also afternoon/evening snacks although we never got a chance to enjoy it. There were tons of amenities provided in the room & bathroom, everything we could think of or need was already there. The view from our room was lovely. The hotel itself is in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle but literally only a 5-7 minute walk from a busy section of Venice full of shops and cafes. It was also about a <10 minute walk from the water bus stop from the airport, although we did have to go over a few bridges it was very do-able even with 2 large suitcases. Only complaint is the bathroom door was very difficult to slide closed and the bathroom was showing age/tile grout was a little grimey. The room was quite a bit less expensive that others I was comparing it to and I'm glad I went with it. Overall would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Nice hotel with good sized rooms. The lobby is cool and tastefully decorated and check in was simple. Our room had 2 beds on a split level. Sleeping upstairs was about 5 degrees warmer and no amount of air-con could help that. The beds are comfortable and the linen is high quality. The bathroom is nice but the bath/shower is tiny. Breakfast must be booked in advance because they serve in blocks due to limited seating. There's also a complimentary buffet with some snacks and drinks available from 3pm until 10pm most nights. As far as location goes, you're in Venice so just about anywhere is close to something interesting but it's a short walk to most of the iconic spots and is about 250m to the Grand Canal and a bus or taxi.
